Sad Day
This is Luvdee, she was just over 2 years old and barren.
Her given name was Lucille but my youngest daughter coined the nick name Luvdee because such a sweet, affectionate hen. She would often be heard scawking "Whaaaah, Whaaah" in the back yard. Yesterday Luvdee died... heat exhaustion... she was my youngest daughters hen and it broke her heart! She made a memorial plaque for her and attached to the fence just above where my husband buried her. She will truly be missed. RIP Luvdee, we'll miss you!!
